Salesperson Role and Responsibilities
Position Title: Salesperson / Virtual Assistant (VA)
Location: Sydney, NSW (Remote Work Possible)
Department: Sales
Reports To: Project Manager / Owner
Role Overview: The Salesperson/VA at James and Co Residential Builders is responsible for managing incoming leads, qualifying prospects, and coordinating project assessments. This role involves utilizing Monday.com for lead management, handling communication with potential clients, and ensuring a smooth transition from initial contact to project estimation and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management:
Use Monday.com to track and manage all incoming leads.
Qualify and disqualify leads based on predefined criteria.
Client Communication:
Call prospects as necessary to gather additional information and clarify project details.
Gain an initial understanding of the project types from incoming leads.
Project Summarization:
For projects under ~$3,000, summarize client information and project details, and forward this summary to the estimating team.
Appointment Scheduling:
For projects valued at over $3,000, identify and select the best leads.
Send invitations to qualified leads for a Home Assessment appointment, which will be conducted by the Project Manager/Owner.
Proposal Management:
Email project proposals to clients and manage follow-up communications.
Direct any technical or detailed project-specific questions to the estimator, ensuring clients receive accurate and thorough responses.
Facilitate the closing of deals by coordinating between clients and the estimating team.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and plans.
Set and achieve personal sales targets in line with company objectives.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Provide feedback and insights to the management team to help refine sales strategies and service offerings.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in Monday.com.
Prepare regular sales reports for review by the management team.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the company.
